ADMISSION TO RECEPTION CLASS 2025
If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, and you live in Peterborough you need to apply for a Reception school place.

ADMISSION TO RECEPTION CLASS 2024
If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, and you live in Peterborough you need to apply for a Reception school place.
You can apply for a primary school place for September 2024 from 12th September 2023.
The deadline for applications is 15 January 2024, you will then get an offer of a place on 16 April 2024.

In Year Admissions into The Duke of Bedford Primary School
If your child is already of school age and attending another Peterborough school and you wish to apply for a place at our school you can either request an In-Year Transfer Form from your child’s current school or complete an online application at https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/residents/schools-and-education/school-admissions/moving-schools-in-year-transfer. Once completed this must be forwarded to Admissions and your child will be placed on our relevant year group waiting list, if we have one. Offers are made by the Local Authority Admissions Team every 2 weeks during term time. You will be contacted by School Admissions or by our school should your child be offered an In Year place at our school.
